Is-sinjal għal MALJA OLANDIŻA għandha żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal MALJA. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ T fuq quddiem fin-nofs u jduru lura kontra xulxin xi darbtejn, b’id tibda qabel l-oħra. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal OLANDA biż-żewġ idejn li jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 magħluq bis-saba’ l-kbir stirat. L-idejn jitqiegħdu mal-ġenb tal-wiċċ imbagħad jersqu ’l barra waqt li s-swaba’ jingħalqu mill-għekiesi u l-ponot tas-swaba’ jiġu jmissu.
The sign for DUTCH BRAIDS has two parts. (i) First the sign for BRAID is made. The hands take the shape of T in the middle at the front. They turn back on themselves twice or more, one starting before the other. (ii) Then the sign for HOLLAND is made with both hands in the shape of closed 5 with the thumbs stretched out. The hands are placed near the sides of the face then move out whilst the fingers bend at the knuckles with the fingertips touching.
